Tour Laguna Humantay
Humantay Lagoon is a beautiful body of water located in the Cusco region of Peru, at the foot of the imposing Humantay Mountain. This place is famous for its intense turquoise waters, which contrast spectacularly with the surrounding mountain landscape. Accessing the lagoon involves a hike of approximately 1 to 1.5 hours from the starting point, which rewards visitors with panoramic views and the opportunity to appreciate the area's rich biodiversity. The lagoon is a popular destination for trekkers and nature lovers, and also holds spiritual significance for local communities, who consider this place sacred. It is undoubtedly a magical spot that captures the essence of the Peruvian Andes.
Itinerary
We will be picked up from your hotel between 4:45 and 5:30 am and then travel by transport to the town of Mollepata, located in the lush Apurimac River Valley. After a well-deserved breakfast to recharge our batteries, we will continue our journey to Soraypampa (3900 masl). After a short rest, we will begin our hike to Humantay Lake, located at 4200 mt (13779 ft). After an ascent of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will be able to appreciate such a wonderful place. We will return to our camp to have lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks. Afterwards, we will be transferred to our city of Cusco. We will drop you off in the city center (near the main Plaza de Armas).
